The form below is to submit payment for kayak rack storage space that has been approved by Town Hall personnel. Please do not place any kayaks on the rack without confirmation from the town. LOCATION

Kayak racks are located on the Van Dyke Bay Beach, behind the Hyatt Hotel.

SAFETY

Delaware law requires you have both a whistle and PFD (personal flotation device) on board while using your kayak. The storage racks have holes drilled for you to secure your kayak with a cable. The Town is not responsible for stolen or damaged kayaks, paddles, PFDs or other items.

COST

The cost to store your kayak is $100 for one year, beginning April 1, 2026 through March 30, 2027. After your payment is received, we will provide you a numbered space assignment. Only one kayak (or paddleboard) may be placed in a slot.

MAINTENANCE

It is imperative that the kayak racks stay organized and clean. The racks are for storage of kayaks/paddleboards only. You are responsible for the maintenance of your kayak and storage space. If you notice damage to the kayak rack, please notify the Town immediately at (302) 227-6363.
