Job Title: Seasonal Maintenance & Grounds Tech

Job Description:

The Town of Dewey Beach is looking for a Part-Time Maintenance and Grounds Tech for the summer season (May – September). This person will work closely with the Dewey Beach Maintenance Supervisor.

Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

· Perform ground maintenance duties such as mowing, light landscaping, and trash pickup

· Operation of landscaping, hand and power tools

· Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor

Required experiences and skills include:

· 18 years of age

· Ability to work extended periods of time outside during summer months

· Must have a valid drivers license.

· Ability to work various shifts up to 24 hours a week

This position will require the individual to be outside during daytime hours. Anticipated hours are flexible up to 24 hours per week over summer season. Weekend shifts as necessary. Compensation will be dependent on experience with starting rate being at least $18/hour
