Dewey in Bloom Bike Parade

Dewey In Bloom is excited to launch the Red White and Bloom Kids Bike Parade! The Red White and Bloom Kids Bike Parade will celebrate Independence Day, summer and community by welcoming children to decorate their bikes and parade on Read Avenue (bayside) followed by a celebration area with activities for kids. Join us for the start of this family-friendly tradition! Kids of all ages, families, and well-behaved pets are welcome to participate. Bring your bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters already decorated - or, come early to decorate on site - we'll have supplies available for you! Come as you are, or dress up to match the red, white and blue theme!

Check in at the corner of Read Avenue and Hayden Road (bayside) in Dewey Beach

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

9:30am - 9:50am: Arrival and decorating

9:50am: Parade lineup

10:00am - 10:30am: Parade

10:30am - 11:30am: Post-parade activities including moon bounce, face painting, balloon art, flower pot decorating and planting. Snacks will be provided by local food vendors.

PARKING

Paid street parking will be in effect. Plan time to park and pay as instructed on town signage.
