LICENSE OPTIONS

• 3-Day Dog License - Good for 3 consecutive days.
• 8-Day Dog License - Good for 8 consecutive days.
• Lifetime Dog License - Good for the life of your dog.
• Souvenir Dog License - Full color "Dewey Beach" design tag, good for the life of your dog.

RULES

• We are currently in our summer season (Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend through Sunday following Labor Day). This means dog may only be on the beach before 9:30am, and after 5:30pm. Dogs can not be on the beach during the day.
• All dogs in Dewey Beach must have a town license. This is in addition to any state license or rabies tag you may already have. You may purchase a license here online, at Town Hall, or at the automated kiosk at the Town Hall parking lot entrance (temporary licenses only). All dog license purchases are non-refundable.
• Dog owners must clean up after their dog. You will be fined if you do not properly dispose of dog waste.
• While dogs may be unleashed on the beach, they must remain under the control of their owner. Dogs are not permitted to run at large. 
• Be aware that at sunrise and sundown, there may be many dogs on the beach, some without leashes. Know your dog and their limits. Never bring an aggressive or unpredictable dog onto the beach. Always come prepared with a collar and leash for your dog in the event you must remove them from the beach quickly. Even the friendliest dogs may not always get along - learn to recognize the warning signs and break up a fight if necessary.
